About Offsite Insights
This collection of Environmental Artwork speaks to the relationship between human
and worldly nature: how human nature is a product of our environment and how we
treat it, the good, the bad and the ugly. All work gives some “insight” into the relevance
of Environmental Art and thought-provoking sustainability issues.
Environmental Art is an umbrella term for work made with, on or about nature to
include land art, reclamation art, art made with recycled material, natural materials, found objects, two dimensional work about nature and Eco Art. In its simplest
definition, Eco Art is predominantly a fusion of art and science coming together
around environmental issues as they impact living systems.
